Jacqueline D. Berger joined Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP in 2000 and became a Partner in 2007. Her practice encompasses all areas of medical malpractice litigation and personal injury defense. Ms. Berger also defends doctors, hospitals and nursing homes in professional liability matters.
Ms. Berger received her J.D. from The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1998 and her B.A., cum laude, from Brandeis University in 1995. She is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts, the New Jersey State Courts, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Ms. Berger has lectured at Pediatric Grand Rounds at teaching hospitals on issues concerning prevalent pediatric and neonatology issues. Ms. Berger has particular expertise in defending hospitals and hospital personnel, including attendings, residents and nurses, in a variety of lawsuits involving emergency room care, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, neonatology and neurology.
