Karen Corbett is a Partner at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP. Ms Corbett is a seasoned attorney with close to 20 years of experience as a defense attorney specializing in all areas of medical malpractice litigation and nursing home negligence. Ms. Corbett has represented major Long Island based hospitals and a prominent New York dental school. Ms. Corbett also has extensive experience representing dentists, oral surgeons, podiatrists, chiropractors, nurses.

 

Ms. Corbett received her JD in 1996 from Brooklyn Law School and her BS from St. John's University, cum laude. Prior to joining MCB, Ms. Corbett was a partner at a  mid-sized Long Island-based defense litigation firm.

 

Ms. Corbett is admitted to practice before the state courts of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is also an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
