Yuko A. Nakahara joined Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP in June 2008 and became a partner in 2014.  Ms. Nakahara’s practice encompasses all areas of medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, and personal injury defense. Ms. Nakahara also defends individual doctors, nurses, aides and technicians, along with hospitals, nursing homes and dialysis centers in professional liability matters.

 

Ms. Nakahara has participated in case presentations at teaching hospitals on issues concerning prevalent nursing issues.  Ms. Nakahara has expertise in defending hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers, and their respective staff, in a variety of lawsuits involving cardiology, emergency room care, obstetrics and gynecology, nursing care and hemodialysis.

 

Ms. Nakahara received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2004 and her B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2001.  Prior to joining MCB, Ms. Nakahara was a Litigation Attorney at Brand, Glick & Brand P.C. in Garden City, NY. She is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
